The "King & Mouse" whisky bar presents a historic project – the first Scottish whisky finished in Lithuanian virgin oak casks. This 12-year-old Ardmore expression merges Scottish distillation traditions with the unique craftsmanship of Lithuanian nature, creating an unprecedented flavor bridge between the two nations.
After 11 years in Scotland and a finish in a heavily charred Lithuanian virgin oak cask, the whisky acquired a deep amber hue. The aroma and palate feature rich notes of smoked plums, black tea, and charcoal, accompanied by the subtle sweetness of Lithuanian wood and a robust structure.
Best enjoyed neat at room temperature to fully appreciate the unique wood character. Pairs excellently with aged venison or dark, fruity desserts.
