A top-class Calvados from Normandy, distinguished by its exceptional maturity, depth of aroma, and perfect structure. This spirit is crafted in the village of Cambremer, in the Pays d’Auge region, regarded as the most prestigious Calvados AOC area.
It is distilled from apple cider made using more than 30 carefully selected local apple varieties, all grown on the family estate. The spirit is aged for at least 12 years in oak barrels, including the legendary Cask No. 113, where it develops a remarkable aromatic balance between fruity freshness and oxidative maturity.
The bouquet reveals notes of dried apples, pears, roasted almonds, caramel, and vanilla, complemented by delicate hints of tobacco, honey, and soft oak. The aroma is rich yet refined, full of elegant maturity and depth.
On the palate, it is smooth, rounded, and harmonious, showing vivid sweet-fruity tones that evolve into caramel, spice, and dried fruit nuances. The long, warm finish lingers with touches of honey, vanilla, and toasted oak.
