Red dry
Domaine Faiveley Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Porets-Saint-Georges 2022 is an expressive Premier Cru red wine from Burgundy, reflecting the elegance, depth and authenticity of this legendary region. The wine comes from Les Porets-Saint-Georges, one of the most highly regarded Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru vineyards, located near the prestigious Les Saint-Georges estate.
The wine has a rich ruby color and a complex aroma, revealing black cherries, blackberries, delicate spices, a soft touch of oak and a light toasty note. The taste is rich and silky, with an elegant tannin structure, a long and balanced aftertaste. The weight of the wine indicates excellent maturity potential.
Les Porets-Saint-Georges is a 1er Cru estate with calcareous clay soil, which is ideal for the 'Pinot Noir' variety. The wine is fermented with natural yeasts, the temperature is strictly controlled. There is a long maceration. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 14–18 months, of which about 20–30% are new barrels.
