Fortified dry
Bodegas Valdespino Deliciosa Manzanilla Jerez is a classic Manzanilla style sherry from the city of Sanlúcar de Barrameda in southern Spain – the only place in the world where Manzanilla can be produced. The wine is made from Palomino Fino grapes and aged for about 5-6 years in the traditional criaderas y solera system, under a natural layer of yeast (flor), which protects the wine from oxidation and gives it a distinctive freshness and salty mineral character.
The aroma reveals notes of fresh yeast, chamomile, green almonds, lemon peel and sea breeze. In the glass, subtle roasted nuts, bread crust and light mineral tones gradually become apparent. The wine is extremely dry, refreshing and precise – it combines citrus freshness, almond bitterness, delicate saltiness and a long, elegant aftertaste reminiscent of the Atlantic coast air.
"Deliciosa" is considered one of the classic and benchmark interpretations of Manzanilla - elegant, extremely fresh and perfectly revealing the unique character of the Atlantic coast terroir and biological maturation.

It is recommended to serve well chilled, at a temperature of 7–9 °C. It is one of the most versatile aperitif wines, going well with oysters, shrimp, mussels, fried or marinated sardines, squid, anchovies, Iberian ham, olives, pickled vegetables and various Spanish tapas. It also perfectly complements Japanese cuisine - sushi, sashimi or tempura.
