Brigaldara Picol de Legno Garda DOC 2023 is a unique white wine from the Veneto region, produced from selected amber-colored 'Garganega' grapes from old clones, which are characterized by the lignification of the stalks during grape ripening. This feature gives the wine a special aromatic depth and structure.
The grapes are hand-picked late, when the optimal stage of ripening is reached. After harvesting, a fairly long maceration is performed, which contributes to the richness of the taste and a gentle pressing of the must, which helps to preserve the fruitiness and texture. Fermentation took place: 40% in oak barrels, 60% in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature of 13°C, which allows for maximum preservation of aromatic components and the freshness of the wine.
The aromas of the wine reveal notes of almonds, vanilla, white peaches, grape blossoms. The taste is expressive, with well-balanced acidity and a long-lasting citrus aftertaste.
Serve at 8–10 °C with Mediterranean vegetable dishes, pizza, melon with Parma ham, light snacks, suitable as an aperitif.
