Fortified sweet
Domaine Ampelhus Muscat de Lunel honors the deep traditions of the Languedoc region. It originates from one of the oldest French appellations—the village of Lunel, which has been renowned for its unique terroir since the Middle Ages. Today, "Ampelhus" is an estate managed by Lithuanian-born Ženia and Frenchman Thibauld, earning recognition for their natural winemaking and respect for nature.
The wine’s aromas open with vibrant notes of jasmine blossoms, ripe passion fruit, and honey. On the palate, the wine is full of velvety sweetness, accompanied by crisp acidity and the flavor of fresh citrus zest.
This Muscat de Lunel is crafted exclusively from the noble 'Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains' grapes. Its complexity is derived from the unique soil—rounded Rhône River stones—which absorb the sun's heat and transfer it to the grapes. It is the natural grape sugar and masterfully halted fermentation that ensure the pure and recognizable "Ampelhus" style.
The wine is produced using the natural sweet wine (Vin Doux Naturel) method, preserving maximum fruitiness and elegance.
Serve at 8-10 °C with fruit salad, white chocolate desserts.
Domaine Ampelhus is a 12-hectare winery located in the Languedoc region of France. The estate is managed by former Lithuanian pharmacist Ženia Vasiljeva Vermillard and her husband Thibauld Vermillard, who took over the family vineyards in 2015. The producers apply biodynamic winemaking principles and have won the prestigious "Best Young Winemaker of France" award. The assortment is dominated by wines made from traditional and rare historical grape varieties.

The estate's production is focused on naturalness and revealing the true characteristics of the region:
Due to their well-balanced acidity, the wines can be enjoyed young, but the red wines possess a well-defined structure that allows them to continue maturing gracefully in the bottle.
