Symbol of the noble wine tradition of Abruzzo, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo finds in the aging in French oak barriques the ideal training ground to develop personality and character. From the vineyards of Bucchianico, at the foot of majestic gullies, wines of great balance and concentration are obtained, thanks to the high planting density and very low yield per hectare, manual harvesting and maceration at low temperatures.
Serve at 12-14 °C with fish dishes, meat balls, mushroom stew, matured soft cheese.
Coiled aromas of seared lemon, Canary melon and almond skin give this oak-aged white a lot of lift. It's richly textured on the palate yet impeccably balanced by driven acidity. There's depth to the citrus and melon flavors, which makes this a compelling Trebbiano to sit on in the near term.
