Rose dry
This is a light, dry rosé wine from southern France, reflecting the character of the Mediterranean region. Pale in colour, with fresh fruit expression and a clean, precise style. The wine is produced by Vins Breban and classified as IGP Méditerranée, allowing for a more flexible and modern interpretation of the region.
The nose reveals subtle notes of red berries and flowers – strawberry, raspberry and light citrus nuances. The aromatic profile is elegant and clean, with a gentle hint of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is soft and light-bodied, with lively yet well-balanced acidity. It shows freshness and good intensity, finishing with a clean, fruit-driven medium-length aftertaste.
The grapes are grown in southern France, near Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, at an altitude of 360–420 metres above sea level. The soils are diverse – ranging from clay and limestone to sand, with bauxite and marble elements – contributing to the wine’s light structure and subtle minerality.
The wine is made from ‘Grenache’ and ‘Cinsault’ grapes. Each variety is vinified separately, with fermentation carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic purity. The wine is not aged.
Serve chilled, at about 8–10 °C; pairs well with seafood salads, pan-fried white fish, and light pasta dishes with vegetables.
Vins Breban
"Vins Breban" is one of the most prominent and highly respected producers in the Provence region, whose name today has become synonymous with the quality and authenticity of Southern French winemaking. For three generations, the Bréban family has nurtured a passion for the region's wines. Although many recognize this producer for its elegant, classic Provence rosés, the history and portfolio of "Vins Breban" conceal much more—from deep traditions and sustainable partnerships with local vineyards to masterfully crafted artisanal sparkling wines, the production secrets of which the family has preserved to this day.
From a garage vision to Provence leaders
The origins of the family business sound like a true French legend. It all began back in 1942 when founder Raymond Bréban started producing his first sparkling wines in his home garage. Sensing the immense potential of the Provence region, he officially founded "Vins Breban" in 1952 and added still wines to the assortment. In 1968, his son Jean-Jacques Bréban took the helm, successfully expanding the company's export reach and making it globally recognizable.
Today, the estate is successfully managed by the third generation. Over more than 70 years, the family has built an invaluable network of trust—they work closely with over 20 independent wine estates in the region and bring more than 8 million bottles to the market annually. Their wines represent the most important regional appellations, such as Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, Bandol, and local IGP zones. Furthermore, in 2019, the family acquired the historic "Château Arnaude" estate, nurtured by monks since the 18th century, thereby further cementing their roots in the soil of Provence.
The magic of the Mediterranean and mountain terroir
"Vins Breban" wines are born where abundant southern sun, mountainous terrain, and fresh Mediterranean winds meet. The region's climate is perfect for viticulture—long, hot, and dry summers allow the berries to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness. Meanwhile, the winds blowing from the sea not only cool the vineyards at night, preserving the vibrant acidity of the grapes, but also naturally protect them from diseases.
The soils here are exceptionally diverse, ranging from limestone and clay to sandstone and gravel. This geological diversity grants the winemakers the freedom to create complex blends, while imparting a distinct structure and subtle minerality to the wines themselves. Recognizing the immense value of this terroir, today "Vins Breban" is dedicating increasing attention and investment to organic and sustainable farming (Agriculture Biologique).
Provence elegance and artisanal bubbles
The producer's style is focused on crafting clean, precise, and highly gastronomic wines that are effortless to pair with both everyday meals and refined Mediterranean cuisine.
