White dry
Perkins Harter Johan Chardonnay 2017 from Oregon's Willamette Valley is a white wine characterized by a savory character, creamy texture, and firm structure.
The aroma features prominent notes of fresh citrus, stone fruits, and white flowers, harmoniously complemented by subtle accents of toasted almonds and butter. On the palate, rich fruitiness and a creamy texture dominate, complemented by crisp natural acidity and a long-lasting, savory, and mineral finish.
The grapes for this wine are grown in moisture-retaining silty clay soil, which gives the beverage power and concentration. The carefully hand-picked and sorted harvest was fermented in used French oak barrels.
Wine was aged for 9 months in oak and an additional 2 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
It is recommended to serve this wine chilled to 10–12 °C. Thanks to its creamy texture, this wine pairs perfectly with poultry, fattier fish, seafood, and dishes with creamy or buttery sauces.
