Family Traditions Since 1942

Located in the heart of the Jura region, the Domaine Rolet Père et Fils winery was founded in 1942 by Desire Rolet. Starting with modest plots of land, he successfully passed his profound passion to the next generation. In 1958, all four of his children decided to continue the family business, taking over the management from their father. Their combined dedication allowed the estate to grow steadily, acquiring premium vineyards across the prestigious Arbois, Côtes du Jura, and L’Étoile appellations.

Respect for Nature and Steep Slopes

Whether producing crisp white wine or expressive red wine, the winery strictly adheres to natural farming practices. No herbicides or pesticides are ever used in the vineyards, allowing the soil to fully express its genuine terroir. Furthermore, all grapes are harvested strictly by hand. Because many of their vines are planted on very steep slopes, this is an incredibly demanding task that requires immense physical endurance and care, ultimately translating into the highest quality in the glass.

A Unique Archive of Mature Wines

One of the most fascinating aspects of this producer is the historical treasure hidden in their cellars. The family patiently builds an archive of mature, vintage wines aged in large magnum bottles. These rare collector's items are dispatched only upon special request, after the family meticulously checks the wine's quality and replaces the old cork with a brand new one. This makes it an extraordinarily luxurious and unique wine gift for any true enthusiast or collector.
