Red dry
Faiveley Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru "Les Montroziers" 2023 is a structured and elegant red wine from a prestigious Burgundy appellation. Crafted from Pinot Noir grapes, this Premier Cru wine reflects the mastery of Domaine Faiveley, revealing the classic firmness and longevity characteristic of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation.
The aroma reveals notes of dark berries (blackberries, black cherries), complemented by subtle hints of forest floor, licorice, and light toasted spices. On the palate, the wine demonstrates excellent concentration, firm tannins, and harmonious acidity. The finish is long and clean.
The vineyard is located in the Nuits-Saint-Georges zone, where shallow limestone and clay soils prevail. This specific soil composition gives the wine a deep color, a firm tannic structure, and pronounced minerality. At the estate, the harvest is exclusively hand-picked and sorted. The wine is aged in French oak barrels.
Best served at 14–16 °C. Thanks to its robust structure, this wine pairs perfectly with beef steaks, game dishes, roasted duck breast, and aged cheeses.
Since 1825, the Faiveley family has worked with deep respect in the heart of Burgundy – in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Côte Chalonnaise regions – where prestigious Grands Crus and Premiers Crus wines are born. The secrets and passion of winemaking, passed down from generation to son, have allowed Domaine Faiveley to become the largest family-owned vineyard estate in Burgundy today, managing an impressive portfolio of 13 Grands Crus, 35 Premiers Crus, and 28 village wines. The wines of this producer are consistently characterized by elegance and impeccable quality.
