Saulės Mead “Cranberry” – a harmony of honey softness and berry freshness
This mead is made from honey collected in the producer’s own apiary, dandelion blossoms growing in the floodplain meadows near the apiary, and cranberry juice gathered from nearby villages. It is a Traditional Heritage product that reflects a close connection to place, natural ingredients, and the old Lithuanian mead-making tradition.
On the nose, pleasant aromas of honey and berries intertwine, combining floral softness with the fresh note of cranberry. On the palate, a balanced interplay of honey sweetness and cranberry acidity brings liveliness, freshness, and expressive character to the drink. This is an approachable, pleasantly fruity mead that still retains an authentic character.
We recommend serving it at 12–16 °C as an aperitif, or alongside light snacks and desserts. This mead can be an excellent choice for those wishing to rediscover one of the oldest beverages in the world.
It is no coincidence that this mead has received recognition and acclaim:
Ingredients: water, honey, cranberries, yeast.
