Sparkling dry
A wine of impressive concentration crafted from the exceptional 2015 harvest, defined by two words — generosity and elegance. The maceration and fermentation of the grape juice take place together. A small portion of the grapes, around 8%, is fermented in French oak barrels. Additionally, 24% of the wine undergoes malolactic conversion. During secondary fermentation, the wine is aged for 4 years on the lees. After disgorgement, the champagne is aged for an additional 6 months in the producer's cellars.
Golden in colour with hints of ripe citrus, this wine reveals subtle aromas of lemon tree, almonds and buttery croissants. On the palate, the wine is pure, with a clean body carrying a rich, mineral acidity.
Dosage: 8 g/l.
Serve at 8–10 °C with oysters, seafood, eggs Benedict or grilled fish.
A great 2015 vintage champagne! Super-elegant synthesis of pinot noir and chardonnay character with a dazzling interplay of complex red apple, citrus and delicate floral aromas with racy acidity and chalky minerality, that is animating for mind and body. Unusually graceful finish for the vintage. 70% pinot noir from Verzy, the highest point of the Montagne de Reims, that’s also very close to the forest. 30% chardonnay from Chouilly, another rather cool location. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Prestigious Louis Roederer Vineyards
Louis Roederer owns an impressive 240 hectares of vineyards, most of which are located in Grand Cru and Premier Cru areas.
Montagne de Reims: Renowned for high-quality Pinot Noir grapes, which provide structure and strength to the champagnes.
Côte des Blancs: Famous for elegant and mineral Chardonnay grapes.
Vallée de la Marne: Contributes to the complexity of the champagnes with Pinot Meunier grapes.
Their own vineyards allow Louis Roederer to strictly control the quality of the grapes and ensure the distinctiveness of their champagnes.
Aging and Best Time to Enjoy
Louis Roederer champagnes are aged for a long time in cellars, giving them more complexity and subtlety. Even the basic Brut Premier is aged for several years. Vintage and prestige cuvée champagnes, such as Cristal, are aged even longer, gaining exceptional depth and elegance. These champagnes have excellent aging potential and can be enjoyed both young and mature.
