The MWD “4ER” EDITION ONE is the first model in the My Wine Basket collection and the design that marked the beginning of the entire series.
The minimalist MWD “4ER” wine basket is inspired by Bauhaus design principles, where functionality meets clean aesthetics. Its lightweight yet durable metal construction provides a practical solution for transporting and displaying up to four wine bottles, while ensuring long-term reliability and everyday usability.
Finished in the iconic Yves Klein Blue, the basket stands out as a distinctive design object and a striking interior accent. The open-frame structure keeps labels clearly visible and allows easy access to every bottle. Thanks to its ergonomic handle, the basket is convenient to use during tastings, wine events, in wine shops, restaurants, wineries, or private cellars.

My Wine Design (MWD) is a contemporary wine furniture and accessories brand dedicated to creating functional and aesthetically refined solutions for the world of wine. The brand’s philosophy is rooted in Bauhaus design principles, where form and function are inseparable, and every object is designed to be both practical and visually distinctive.
Founded by architect and industrial designer Martins Pilens, MWD combines professional design expertise with a lifelong passion for wine. After studying architecture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Pilens developed a unique approach he describes as wine architecture – the creation of spaces, furniture, and accessories dedicated to the presentation, storage, and enjoyment of wine.
At the heart of the brand is a modular wine furniture system designed for wineries, wine cellars, restaurants, wine shops, and private homes. MWD products are built around the principle of “Start small, expand later, move with it,” allowing collections and spaces to grow organically through flexible, scalable, and mobile solutions.
This philosophy also inspired the My Wine Basket collection – minimalist metal baskets designed for carrying, storing, and displaying wine bottles. They embody the core values of MWD: clarity of form, durability, functionality, and contemporary design.
Today, My Wine Design projects extend beyond furniture and accessories to include wine cellars, tasting spaces, wineries, and restaurant interiors. Every product is created with a single purpose: to present wine in a way that is elegant, organized, and respectful of its story.
