Description

Giustini Acinørè Old Vines Primitivo Di Manduria 2023 - this exceptional and limited production Acinørè wine seems to redefine the boundaries of the Primitivo di Manduria appellation as we know it today. The only vineyard where the soil reaches great depth, so that the vine does not suffer from water stress and the grapes do not dry out. The unique conditions, combined with the desire to create a wine of undisputed character, gave life to the innovative Primitivo, with a residual sugar level close to 0 g/l. The taste of Apulian wines never ceases to amaze.

The grapes are hand-picked, thus ensuring the highest quality of the wine. The grapes are macerated for 15 days. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 24-26 °C, obtaining a delicate taste and aroma. The wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels to acquire its exceptional characteristics.

The result is a ruby-colored wine. The aroma of this wine is complex, with surprising notes of blackberries and red berries, intertwined with hints of roses, licorice and light tobacco, and everything is crowned with a soft cocoa accent.

In the mouth, the wine reveals itself through good balance and juiciness. The aftertaste is long, with soft tannins.

Serving recommendations

Serve at 16-18 °C with roast beef, game stew and mature cheeses.
