Lucille (b. 1921) was the daughter of Antanas Tananevicius, the mother of Jim and Bob Varner, who today own Varner Wine on the Central Coast of California, south of San Francisco. Vyndarii's grandfather came to the United States in 1897 at the age of eleven. In 1914, he graduated from the Chicago College of Medicine and Surgery and became a doctor. The personality of grandfather's brother Jonas Mykolas Tananevičius is even more colorful. He came to the United States in 1895. In 1899, together with priest Kriaučiūnas, he started publishing the weekly "Katalikas" in Chicago, which later became the property of Jonas Tananevičius.
