Château Croizet-Bages is a classic Bordeaux wine estate in the Pauillac appellation, where a long history, exceptional terroir, and consistent winemaking tradition come together. The winery is located on the Bages plateau, where fertile layers of gravel and sandy soils give the wines a clear structure, deep fruit profile, and distinctive mineral character.
The estate has deep historical roots. Its name and vineyard plots have been known since the 17th century, and in 1855 Château Croizet-Bages was classified as a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé in the official Bordeaux classification. During the 19th century, the winery gained recognition for the quality of its wines at international exhibitions. After challenging periods in the 20th century, the future of the estate was revitalized by Paul Quié, who restored and restructured the vineyards, rebuilding the reputation of this Grand Cru wine.

The main grape varieties are ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’, ‘Merlot’, and ‘Petit Verdot’, blended to express the true character of the Pauillac appellation: defined structure, concentrated fruit, elegant tannins, and strong ageing potential. After fermentation, the wines are aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 14 months.
Château Croizet-Bages wines are known for their rich fruit profile, refined tannins, and well-balanced harmony between structure and fruit expression. They are a fine example of the Pauillac style, suitable both for immediate enjoyment and for further ageing. The estate also applies high environmental and soil management standards, and its vineyards are certified at the highest French HVE (High Environmental Value) level, highlighting a sustainable and responsible approach to winemaking.
