Red dry
Brigaldara Case Vecie Valpolicella Superiore DOC 2022 is an elegant and complex Italian red wine that reflects the uniqueness of the Valpolicella region. This wine is made from carefully selected grapes grown in the Case Vecie vineyard at an altitude of 450 m, where the southeast exposure of the slope and the cool microclimate ensure a slow and even ripening of the grapes.
Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 22-24 °C in order to preserve the natural fruity aromas. The wine was fermented with the skins and pumped twice a day during the process to maximize the color, tannins and depth of flavor. It is aged for 12 months in large oak barrels, which gives subtle oak notes without losing fruitiness.
The ruby-colored wine is characterized by a refined spectrum of aromas: cherries, balsamic vinegar, vanilla, figs, sweet tobacco, cranberries, bitter almonds. The taste is soft, full-bodied, balanced, with elegant tannins and a long aftertaste.
Serve at 16–18 °C with pizza, pasta, cured ham, grilled sausages, Italian appetizers, and spicy grilled vegetables.
Black cherries, black pepper, chocolate and graphite with floral touches. Firm on the palate, with velvety tannins, good fruit concentration, a medium body, crisp acidity and polished definition. Very good example of Superiore. Drink or hold.
