Red dry
Karas red dry wine 2023- is a red wine from the Armavir region of Armenia, the Ararat Valley, reflecting the country's modern winemaking and the ancient wine culture of this region. This basic red wine of the "Karas" line: a blend of 'Syrah', 'Malbec' and 'Cabernet Franc', grown on volcanic soils located on the slopes of the holy Mount Ararat.
The wine reveals notes of red fruit in its aroma, complemented by subtle nuances of chocolate. This is not a heavy or overly extractive style, but a cleanly expressed, fruity and neat aromatic profile, in which the maturity of a warmer climate is felt.
The wine is elegant, smooth and well-balanced. It is characterized by a sufficiently lively acidity, a direction of ripe fruit and soft, round tannins, giving the taste integrity and a light velvety sensation. The aftertaste is pleasant, clean, with a fruity and slightly spicy echo.
The character of this wine is strongly shaped by the terroir of the Armavir region: stony, heavier, volcanic soils and a continental high-altitude climate with hot summers and cold, dry winters. Such conditions help to maintain the concentration of fruit, but at the same time give the wine freshness and structure.
The grapes are hand-picked, cold or temperature-controlled maceration is carried out, and alcoholic and malolactic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks. This path allows to preserve the fruitiness and the exact character of the variety.
Tiekti 16-18 °C temperatūros prie prie raudonos mėsos, makaronų patiekalų, brandesnių sūrių.
