Saint-Marcellin is a soft cow’s milk cheese from France, distinguished by its thin rind and exceptionally delicate, creamy texture. As it matures, the interior becomes even softer, while the palate reveals notes of butter, cream, and subtle nuttiness.
Elegant yet full of character, this cheese is perfect enjoyed on its own, with fresh bread, or as part of a cheese board. It pairs especially well with fresh, mineral-driven white wines, which highlight its creaminess and gentle piquancy.
Ingredients: unpasteurised cow’s milk, salt, milk cultures, rennet.
