For more than 100 years, in the Vale of Belvoir in Great Britain, the recipe of 'Long Clawson's Stilton' cheese has been refined. It is no surprise that, in recent years, this cheese has been recognised as the highest-quality cheese three times at international cheese competitions. Each 'Stilton' cheese is hand-selected individually by the cheesemakers to ensure the highest quality.
A classic blue cheese made from pasteurised cow's milk, in a clay jar. Aged for 9 weeks, the cheese has a soft texture, a pronounced saltiness, a piquant character and a balanced flavour. Stilton jars cheese is a unique and unforgettable taste experience.
It is ideal for accompanying dried fruits, various fruit or berry jams, or for enjoying with sweet or sweet fortified wines such as Madeira or Port.
Ingredients: pasteurised cow's milk, salt, rennet, Penicillium Roqueforti culture, milk ferments.
May contain traces of milk and milk products.
