White dry
Wimmer Czerny Weelfel Riesling 2022 is an exceptional biodynamic white wine from the Wagram region in Austria. Made from 100% Riesling grapes grown on the Weelfel plot, one of the best vineyard sites on the estate. The 2022 harvest was balanced: warm summers and cool autumn evenings allowed the grapes to accumulate an excellent balance of aromas and acidity.
The wine is distinguished by its expressive aromas of citrus fruits, white peaches, honey and wet stones. The taste is dry but full of life: refreshing acidity, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of ripe fruit.
The grapes are gently pressed. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Wild yeasts are used. After fermentation, the wine is aged “sur lie” (on fine yeast) for about 6-8 months.
Serve at 8-10 °C with richer white fish dishes, seafood, and lighter cheeses.
