Very bright, Parés Baltà Rosa Cusiné is rosy with some orange and steely tinges. Fresh and expressive notes of red berries, blackberry jam and toasted dry fruit, typical of a Grenache sparkling wine, combined with remembrances of aromatic herbs, fine lees, pastry, flowers and spices. This organic Cava from Parés Baltà is fresh and smooth, with tiny, caressing bubbles and a refreshing acidity. Sweet spices, a note of red fruit, some lactic touches, a dash of red flowers of menthol, and suggestions of pastry and dry fruit. Long, delicious finish.
Serve at 8-10 °C with stewed vegetables, salmon or tuna tartare or grilled.
The history of the Pares Balta winery in the Penedès region of Spain dates back to 1790. In the 1970s, the Cusiné family joined her. Brothers Joan and Joseph Cusiné work in the vineyards, and their wives, along with oenologists Maria Elena Jimenez and Marta Casas, are responsible for wine production. Since 2010, organic and biodynamic oenological practices have been actively applied on the farm.
