Tea "Mo Gan Shan Red Tea" 30 g

20,00

Description

Mogan Shan Black (Red) Tea comes from Zhejiang Province in China, specifically Deqing County, where the tea is grown on the slopes of Mogan Mountain. This tea stands out for its rich fruity aroma, gently sweet flavour, and pleasant fruity finish, which brings balance and a soft texture to the cup.

The tea is grown by Mr. Zhao and his family on a small farm located about 600 metres above sea level, among bamboo forests, mist, and natural spring water sources. The area benefits from a microclimate that is particularly favourable for tea cultivation: an average temperature of around 15 °C, high humidity, and fertile, soft, slightly acidic soil. These conditions allow the tea plants to grow slowly and develop greater aromatic concentration.

This tea is made from old tea bushes with strong, deep root systems. The bushes are cut only once every two years, giving them plenty of time to grow naturally. The farm follows biodynamic principles: no pesticides or chemical substances are used, and the plants are irrigated with spring water and fertilised with natural organic materials.

The Mogan Shan area has been known in tea history since the Tang Dynasty. The hills of this region have long been renowned for producing high-quality tea, and Mogan Shan tea is also mentioned in classical Chinese tea texts.

Preparation: infuse one teaspoon (3 g) of tea leaves in 250 ml of water at 95 °C for 2–3 minutes. The leaves can be infused several times.

Store in a dark, dry place.
