White dry
White Wine – 100% ‘Chardonnay’
Domaine Servin Chablis Grand Cru Bougros 2023 – a powerful and elegant white wine from one of the most prestigious Chablis Grand Cru vineyards, renowned for its minerality and expressive character.
In the glass, it reveals a delicate straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. The aroma offers notes of candied orange, grapefruit, and lime, complemented by hints of toasted nuts, buttery brioche, and subtle flint. The palate is multi-layered and harmonious – ripe citrus fruits blend with toasty nuances, minerality, and vibrant acidity.
The grapes are hand-harvested from south- and southwest-facing slopes in the Bougros Grand Cru vineyard, where Kimmeridgian marl and clay–limestone soils are rich in fossils. This terroir imparts both power and elegance, while preserving the wine’s freshness.
Fermentation and 15 months of aging in French oak barrels create a refined texture and a long-lasting finish.
Serve at 12-14 °C with lobsters, freshwater fish (pike, perch) and poultry.
Domaine Servin, located in the heart of the Chablis region, boasts a profound history dating back to 1654. From the very beginning, the Servin family has been dedicated to grape growing and winemaking, nurturing the land and perfecting the secrets of this noble craft. Today, the estate owns 32 hectares of vineyards, a significant portion of which are situated in prestigious Premier Cru and Grand Cru plots. Under the leadership of François Servin, the quality of the winery's wines consistently improves each year. He has not only replanted vines with a significantly higher density than is common in the region but has also achieved exceptional grape concentration. In the best plots owned by Domaine Servin, grapes are harvested only by hand, emphasizing precision and attention to detail. François strives to blend traditional and modern winemaking methods, utilizing stainless steel fermentation tanks, yet a portion of his wines carries a subtle "touch" of oak, while almost all Grand Cru wines are fermented in oak barrels.
