Sparkling sweet
This "Antech Doux et Fruité Méthode Ancestrale Blanquette de Limoux AOP" is a top-quality sparkling wine from the historical Limoux region. This wine is produced using the ancient "Méthode Ancestrale" method.
The aromas reveal a soft, fruity profile with subtle notes of apple, pear, and peach, complemented by hints of acacia blossoms. The taste is light and refreshing, with gentle bubbles and natural sweetness.
The "Méthode Ancestrale" is the oldest method of sparkling wine production, originating in 16th-century France, particularly renowned in the Limoux region. This method is unique because the wine is bottled before the first fermentation is complete. This allows naturally forming carbon dioxide to be trapped in the bottle, creating soft, natural bubbles – without added sugar or yeast.
Serve at 5-7 °C with apples, pancakes, fruit tarts and galette des rois.
Antech, an independent family domain for 6 generations, is specialized in the elaboration of sparkling wines in the Crémant de Limoux appellation, near Carcassonne in the south of France.
