White dry
Domaine Faiveley Mercurey Blanc AOC 2022 is a delicate and expressive white wine that reflects the best qualities of the Mercurey appellation: minerality, freshness and fruitiness - everything you would expect from a quality representative of white Burgundy.
Aroma: freshly squeezed lemons, white flowers, pears, apples and subtle notes of toasted oak. Taste: elegant, fresh and balanced. The creamy texture is combined with minerality, subtle butteriness and crisp acidity. Aftertaste: long, clean, leaving a delicate fruity impression.
Fermentation was carried out partly in stainless steel tanks, partly in oak barrels.
This allows you to maintain the fruitiness and freshness, but at the same time gives some texture and depth. Natural or carefully selected yeasts are used. The wine is aged for about 10-12 months, partly in French oak barrels (a small part in new barrels).
Why choose this wine: Chardonnay from Mercurey - less well known than Côte de Beaune, but highly regarded for its good price-quality ratio. The 2022 vintage - warm but balanced - has perfectly ripened the fruit, maintaining freshness.
Serve at 12-14°C. Goes well with seafood (scallops, mussels, shrimp), white fish dishes (e.g. cod with herbs), poultry in a cream sauce, goat or brie-type cheeses.
Since 1825, the Faiveley family has worked with deep respect in the heart of Burgundy – in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Côte Chalonnaise regions – where prestigious Grands Crus and Premiers Crus wines are born. The secrets and passion of winemaking, passed down from generation to son, have allowed Domaine Faiveley to become the largest family-owned vineyard estate in Burgundy today, managing an impressive portfolio of 13 Grands Crus, 35 Premiers Crus, and 28 village wines. The wines of this producer are consistently characterized by elegance and impeccable quality.

Aging and Drinking Period
Domaine Faiveley wines possess an excellent balance and elegance, allowing them to be enjoyed both young and mature. The red wines have great potential for long aging, during which their complexity unfolds and the tannins become more refined. The white wines can also age, developing even more depth and concentration.
