Sodo Sidrinė Brut is a dry apple cider crafted from meticulously selected apples grown in the Burbiškis orchards. Its foundation is built upon ‘Alwa’, ‘Auksis’, ‘Ligol’, and other local varieties, which imbue the cider with a clear, pure apple character. The result of slow fermentation, this cider is a true essence of the Lithuanian orchard in a bottle, characterized by its natural texture and authenticity.
In the glass, a rich bouquet unfolds, dominated by ripe apples intertwined with light notes of wildflowers and subtle citrus. This profile is elegantly framed by a touch of natural yeast, lending the drink the earthy depth characteristic of traditional artisanal cider.
On the palate, it is crisp, clean, and pleasantly tingling with dryness. An expressive, refreshing apple acidity is masterfully complemented by a light astringency from apple bark tannins, which transitions into an elegant, long-lasting, and fresh finish.
We recommend serving chilled to 8–10°C, preferably in wider-bottomed glasses to allow the full palette of aromas to expand. This cider is an exceptionally versatile gastronomic companion: it pairs beautifully with poultry dishes, hard and semi-hard aged cheeses, seafood, and traditional light appetizers. It also perfectly balances the richness of heavier dishes, such as pork.
