Lis Neris

1–3 of 3

Lis Neris is one of the most prestigious wineries in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located in the Isonzo area of northeastern Italy. This winery is considered the benchmark of modern Friulian winemaking, renowned for its precise approach to terroir, small yields and extremely precise management of grape expression.

The winery was founded in 1987, and its philosophy is based on the synthesis of international and local varieties, adapted to the character of the Isonzo soils. Lis Neris is particularly famous for its high-class white wines, dominated by Sauvignon Blanc, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Riesling.

The winemaking process is based on the principle of small yields, strict selection of berries and an individual approach to each plot. Fermentation is often carried out in stainless steel tanks to maintain pure aromatics, and some wines are aged on the lees to achieve greater textural power and longevity.
