Pre-sale — The Champagne will arrive at Vyno klubas in mid-December
Refined and mineral-driven Champagne from one of the most respected grower-producers in the region. Egly-Ouriet is celebrated worldwide for its deep commitment to terroir, natural winemaking and extended aging on the lees.
Les Vignes de Bisseuil represents the purest expression of ‘Chardonnay’, capturing the precision and limestone clarity of the 1er Cru Bisseuil village.
In the glass, it opens with aromas of lemon zest, white peach, pear and white flowers, followed by notes of brioche, toasted almonds and chalky minerality. The bouquet is bright, focused and elegantly pure—hallmarks of the Egly-Ouriet style.
On the palate, the Champagne is vertical, tense, yet creamy, with fine, persistent bubbles. Flavours of citrus, white fruits and delicate autolytic nuances lead into a salty-mineral, long and dry finish. The acidity is vibrant and precise, giving structure and elegant tension.
Made from 100% ‘Chardonnay’ grown in the 1er Cru Bisseuil village of Montagne de Reims, its chalk-clay and marl soils lend the cuvée depth, minerality and a subtle saline edge.
Aged for around three years on the lees, with a low dosage (3 g/l), this Champagne highlights a naturally dry style and a crystal-clear expression of terroir.
