Red dry
A classic example of Bordeaux’s Left Bank, reflecting the structure and ageing potential of the Saint-Estèphe appellation. This wine expresses an elegant, contemporary and well-balanced style.
The aroma is deep and immediately recognisable as Bordeaux. Notes of blackcurrants, blackberries, plums and dark cherries are layered with cedar, tobacco leaf, graphite and a subtle smoky nuance. With aeration, spicy tones of black pepper, cocoa and the firm mineral edge typical of Saint-Estèphe emerge.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, structured and firm, yet not angular. The tannins are ripe and slightly austere, true to the appellation, but well integrated and destined to soften gracefully with time. Lively acidity supports the ripe fruit and provides a clear structural backbone. The finish is long, dry and mineral, with a gently saline impression.
The vineyards of Château Beau-Site are planted on gravel and clay soils of Saint-Estèphe, which give the wine its depth, structure and classic Médoc character.
The harvest is carried out by hand, with careful grape selection. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks, followed by ageing in French oak barrels, adding further complexity while respecting the wine’s balance and purity.
