Markowitsch Rot Carnuntum 2023 is a wine with excellent balance of taste, elegance and freshness.

Fermentation took place for 10-12 days with the skins, maintaining a temperature of 28-30°C, after which malolactic transformation is performed to balance the acidity. Maturation took place in large oak barrels, which adds structure and depth to the wine.
Aromas: the wine smells of ripe cherries, wild berries and black currants, complemented by soft notes of spices and light toasting.
Taste: fresh, fruity, with a soft structure and a long-lasting aftertaste.
Acid content: 5.6 g/l.
Residual sugar content: 1.0 g/l.
Serve at 16–18 °C with red meat stews/steaks, ham, pasta with mushrooms.
