Red dry
Tenuta San Guido Le Difese Toscana IGT 2023 – a great “Super Tuscan” style red wine from the famous Bolgheri region. Elegant, well-balanced and versatile.
Aroma: intense, with notes of ripe cherries, blackberries, blackcurrants and spices. Subtle shades of vanilla and cedar emerge during aging.
Taste: elegant, with soft tannins, friendly acidity and a long, fruity aftertaste. Perfectly balanced and easy to pair with food.
The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature to preserve the freshness of the fruit. After fermentation, the wine is aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels, some of which are used.
Serve at a temperature of 16–18 °C with grilled meats, game stews with forest mushrooms, medium-hard or mature cheeses.
