The core of this sake brand is the premium quality, produced in Fukui Prefecture, Japan. The sake is made using the highest quality Yamada-Nishiki rice, highly polished to a level of 38 %. After fermentation, the sake is aged at 0 °C for at least two years, which gives it an exceptional depth and complexity.
It has a light yellowish hue. The aromas are dominated by aromas of grapefruit, peach and white flower blossom. In the mouth it is fruity and has a chalky minerality.
We recommend serving it at 12-14 °C with dishes containing butter, cheese or olive oil, such as creamy pasta or seafood dishes.
