Baltasis p. sausas
Very young yet flinty and still with some yeasty notes on the floral nose, the 2018 Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett Feinherb is a lush, round, pretty sweet but also straight, piquant and stimulatingly salty Kabinett with a well-structured, intensely fruity and aromatic finish. The wine has lingering salinity and piquancy and impressive length but is still somewhat austere. Not really a classic Kabinett style, but it's a delicious Riesling to have with food—in 10+ years.
The Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt winery is recognized worldwide as one of the best producers of German Riesling grape wines from the Mosel, Saar and Ruwer regions. All vineyards are family run. Kesselstatt has always been able to emphasize quality. Strict harvest restrictions, modern and excellent wine storage conditions ensure that the wines show a strong character. Only Riesling grapes are grown on the 36-hectare Mosel Saar-Ruwer river valleys. The aim of the Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt is to take into account the Terroir and maintain the freshness, aromas and fertility of the wines. All wines are fermented with local yeast at very low temperatures. Wine wines are consistently highly valued by wine professionals and connoisseurs.
