The Zweigelt is part of our fruity wine range and offers immediate drinking pleasure. However, you can also drink the wine later and store it for up to five years. The grapes used to make this wine grow on loamy gravel soils. After the harvest, the wine usually matures in used barrique barrels for six months before being bottled.

Serving recommendations

Serve at 14-16 °C with crispy duck breast, WOK pasta with pork or chicken.

The winery of the Pöckl family is not only unique in Austria. The distinctive style of red wine from this producer is known far beyond the country. The basis of the farm's oenology is maturing in small French oak barrels. This gives the wine concentration, intensity, strong tannins and longevity. Their wine from local varieties and blends with classic French varieties are very successful.
