A Pauillac wine displaying the classic character of ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ – concentrated dark fruit, fresh acidity and a firm yet elegant structure. The 2010 vintage stands out for its richness, fruit intensity and fine balance between concentration and freshness.
The nose reveals notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and other dark fruits, complemented by nuances of smoke, tobacco, cedar and spice. On the palate, the wine is rich, concentrated and creamy in texture, with vibrant acidity, mature tannins and a long, spicy finish.
The Château Lynch-Moussas vineyards are located in the Pauillac appellation, near Château Batailley. The vineyards are characterised by gravelly, silica-rich soils, providing good drainage and favourable conditions for ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ to ripen. The estate belongs to the Castéja family, and its vineyards cover approximately 35 hectares.
The 2010 wine is made from 76% ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ and 24% ‘Merlot’. Today, the 2010 vintage is at a mature stage, allowing the fruit to develop additional notes of tobacco, cedar, earth and spice, while its retained structure provides complexity.
Pauillac komunoje įsikūrusiam ūkiui priklauso 60 ha vynuogynų, apsodintų Cabernet Sauvignon ir Merlot vynmedžiais, kuriuose dominuoja žvirgždo, kalkakemnio ir molio dirvožemis. Po fermentacijos plieno talpose vynas dažniausiai apie 18 mėnesių yra brandinamas prancūziško ąžuolo statinėse, kurių 60% yra naujos.
