In the Roksala family winery, the wines are made from fruits and berries grown in the Sėliai region, collected and carefully selected, using the old oenological traditions, personal experience and discoveries. This sparkling rhubarb wine is made exclusively from rhubarb, using the traditional method, maturing each bottle of wine in the producer’s cellars with yeast for at least 9 months.Aromas of fresh rhubarb, complemented by notes of fully ripe apples, brioche, toast. Especially fine bubbles and a medium-long aftertaste.
Serve at 8 °C as an aperitif.
In Rokiškis district, Taručiai village, right next to the border to Latvia, there is a rural tourism homestead "Roksala", where R. Nagele's family produces home-made wine according to old traditions. The wines are made from grapes grown in the northern vineyard in Lithuania with other fruits or berries. Nine of them have Lithuanian national heritage certificates. Mr. Raimonda’s wines are regular winners of the Lithuanian Wine Championship.
