Blyškios citrinos spalvos sausasis putojantis vynas kvepia žaliaisiais obuoliais, nokia citrina, gaiviais citrusais. Burnoje vynas lengvas, atveriantis apelsino žievelės, persikų natas; juntama gaivi rūgštis ir ypač smulkūs burbuliukai. Stebinančiai ilgo poskonio.
Rekomenduojama temperatūra nuo 6-8 °C. Puikiai dera su žuvimi, vaisiais, jūros gėrybėmis, lengvomis salotomis.
Reguengo de Melgaço is a historic property located in the village of Paderne. Commissioned by Queen Leonor in the 16th century it was bought in the 1900s by its current owners, who planted nine hectares of vineyards across two different vineyard sites. They released their first vintage in 2001 quickly establishing themselves as a benchmark Alvarinho producer. This aromatic variety has been well known locally for centuries but it is only recently that Alvarinho is becoming more appreciated by consumers outside the domestic market. Alvarinho expresses its full potential in the Moncao sub-region of Vinho Verde, showing aromatic complexity and a wonderful combination of fresh fruit and floral notes.
