The natural sparkling wine of the Roksala family winery is produced by the PET NAT method. This is the oldest way of making sparkling wine. The wine is bottled before the end of fermentation. As a result of this production method, the wine may have sediments and opaque.Light pink color. Aromas of spring flowers, ripe lemons, cherry stones, rhubarb. Refreshing and juicy acid is in the mouth.
Serve at 8 °C as an aperitif, with chanterelles with cream sauce, pork, greasy soft cheeses.
In Rokiškis district, Taručiai village, right next to the border to Latvia, there is a rural tourism homestead "Roksala", where R. Nagele's family produces home-made wine according to old traditions. The wines are made from grapes grown in the northern vineyard in Lithuania with other fruits or berries. Nine of them have Lithuanian national heritage certificates. Mr. Raimonda’s wines are regular winners of the Lithuanian Wine Championship.
